Gordon Allport's Personality Theory
Gordon Allport's Personality Theory is also known as Allport's Trait Theory.
According to Gordon Allport, a person's behavior is not determined by any type of personality, but is controlled by different types of personality traits, which are inherent in each person.

Common virtues - There are such virtues by which every person in the society can be compared with each other.
Personal qualities - Differ among all individuals by which a person is identified
Allport's Approach to Individual Tendency
Cardinal Tendency - Such qualities which can be seen differently in the behavior of a person like - (Iron Man) Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel
Central tendency - Such qualities found in every person which are 5-10 in number but are found in other persons like dutifulness, confidence, social and moral qualities etc.
Secondary nature - Such qualities found in every person which are less important for the person, such as the way of getting up, sitting, eating etc.
